A hungry 4-kg fish swims toward and encounters a sleepy 1kg fish swimming towards it four times its own speed. Compared to before lunch, how fast is the hungry fish moving immediately after lunch?

Isnt that a sickening qn?

Anyone got 2 fish? i wan to conduct an experiment and prove the tcher wrong..

Left today at abt 3 to go TP for my APEL(Applied Principle OF Effective Learning) assignment. APEL is smtg like civics and moral..just very waste time. I had to do this personality quiz thing..or i cldnt pass the subject and have to retake it..quite lame ah. The reason why i cldnt do it at home is cause it cnt be supported by Mozilla Firefox, so i downloaded Internet Explorer 8. Then they say.. it cnt be supported by IE 8, only IE, 7, 6 and 5 can support the quiz. That time i was swearing ready...cause im actually going to so much trouble to do a freaking quiz that is all over facebook, just for civics and moral. So i attempted to find IE 7 and download it.. Its quite hard, most websites direct u to download IE8 instead cause it is newer. But in the end, i manage to find the download link for IE7. When it was almost downloaded, the comp said: 'Download Error: Newer version of Internet Explorer detected. Unable to download.' At that point i was cursing and swearing, and also coz i cant find the 'uninstall' button for IE8. So i left for sch to complete the personality test. Result for the test was freaking accurate. Laid back individual who is always calm and a slacker.

After the survey, went to atten TJ's concert. Joke #1: I made the whole grp walk the freaking long way to Victoria Concert Hall, cause my sense of direction cldnt be improved even with a compass.. Joke #2: For the whole concert duration, i thought it was TPJ's band performing..it was only 15 min after the concert that i realise it was actually TJ's band concert..oops. Anyway, he concert was pretty interesting..they had a short play in between, which i have to say was extremely creative and hilarious. Its alot better than the drama clubs from many many many many schools. That what i feel lah. Music wise, it was pretty good. They played like a 'Gold' band..quite surprised they got silver. Guessed they still have room for improvement. One thing though, their acting was slightly better than their playing..oops again.

Digital fundamentals quiz today. Its the subject where the final outcome can only be 0 or 1. Its the subject where 1 and 0 dominates. Yet today's quiz..im expecting 13/20. Not cause it is difficult. But because it dosent make sense and careless mistakes.

So.. Saturday was the first Archery training. Realised im not exactly into the team yet. There will be another trials in another 2 mths time, where they will select a final 20 to officially join. So from now till then, i will not get any SEAL points, committing to cca i might not get in, doing crazy PTs.. Im starting to regret rejecting TP Choir. Ohya, now the archery team got like 90...and their gonna pick 20 out of it..gd luck to me then.

Very bored these few days.. life like no meaning. Go sch for few hrs, see the tcher's face, trying to explain smtg i learn in sec 3...then go back home. So...if ive been bugging u, disturbing u, coz im bored..paiseh ah.

Today damn suay.

Early morning tio cursed by Sylvia like no one's business sia..

Board bus, 'TEEEEEE...' Ezlink no money..heng i got coins.. But no money top up card..so tmr have to use coin again.

Reach school, realise i forgot to bring the hw for the super strict tcher for the stupid subject abt the leaf falling.

After that, my Matric Card kena confiscated by tcher coz i pass it to sm1.

Just b4 Lab lesson, I realise i lost my Lab Tools. Its worth $70.

During lab lesson, i lost my pencil.

Go home use comp, tio virus.

Switch to the new Macbook with aluminium casing. Tio static shock by the casing like no one's business again.

Yesterday was working..for the first time, i found it quite fun.

Lets see.. afternoon shift i was the BEV RUNNER. Its like 'a post i have nvr ever came across b4'. Thought it was specially created for me cause of my super unprofessional performance last week, then i realise that post has been tainted cause HJ was in that post b4.. So anw, i was somewhat a runner, but more of 'water boy'. Did the post correctly without much mishaps.

So in the night shift, i was pantry. I learnt from my mistake from last week and washed the cups myself even though there was no rush. It was quite mad at night. Alot of frustrating stuff and alot of funny things happened. Allow me to say it one by one.

1) New girl came( i tink )..like 1 or 2 days exp only. Se was section 1-2..so when the big Dinner Rush came in, Jun hao was superman. Helped carry all the drinks (which was alot).atleast too much for the new girl. There was once instance (just b4 the dinner rush), when there was an order of 7 IBC rootbeer. So, my job as pantry is to just get 7 halfcups of ice right? I did that, got the IBCs out, and placed it on the tray for her to send. Then she was like standing there with the wine bottle opener (the bottle opener was missing), and stoning. So i offered to help her and opened the caps for her. Winston saw and said smtg like : Last time i got 7 bottles of IBC also, yet no one help me open wor (in chinese, and obv referring to me). Followed by a string of chinese words which i didnt catch/understand. Made me laugh. 1 regret was my face being red all the time, some others thought i was blushing. Cant rmb the girls name. It is smtg in chinese de. LIke Yong chun or yun ching or smtg..

2) Lemon Tea. Was a hot seller. Uncle Richard out to destroy the pantry/runner station once again. I envy those at station 1-5. Anyway, from evening to night, i think had to make 3 buckets or lemon tea. There was on instance when one bucket was finished within 20 minutes. The standby bucket was barely finished b4 we had to pour it in.. The reason why i said 'we' cause all the lemon tea was not my creation. It was Jun Hao's. He alone did all the lemon tea in the evening/night. Thats why i say he superman..handle section 1-2 and making lemon tea at the same time. There was a joke abt his lemon tea being too irresistable, thats why it was a hot seller..

3) The hectic hours. Quite surprised i actually got slightly pissed off last night. The customers were extrenely noisy last night. Winston was behind my back lamenting about how this is the first time he continuously carrying 4 plates each time he came back, driving him nuts. Almost every 10 min, he was saying smtg abt him going nuts. Then Grace was there constantly reminding me abt the load of cups to be washed and other stuff i cant rmb. And Hui Jia was always stealing my cups for god knows what, constantly cocking up my orders. Yea, the screwed coffee machine and the shortage of teaspoons in a night where hot drinks were strangely popular was stressing..

My other laptop got hit by some virus. Now using my new Macbook to blog. Been so long since i used a mac...forgot how to used it liao. Like how to type in chinese, how to do stuff..guess i will have to relearn my stuff

Received a hilarious call today from some CHINESE tourism agency. So the lady spoke this how string of accented chinese words. Took me about a min to register that her last sentence was she introducing her name. The whole front bunch of words was totally lost to me. Somehow, my brain just shut itself down each time people talk a long string of chinese words..ever since o lvl chinese ended. So anyway, i forced it to work, and since i totally didnt register wat she said earlier on, i gambled with '是' (safest chinese word in a conversation). Yea, so i ended up saying '是' all the way, while my brain ignored each and everything she said. After a minute or two, i just cut her through by saying that im a student. Then she was abit shocked for some reason. Then she abit siao, started discussing about school..ask me what time it is in singapore, how old i am, etc etc.. I was like 'wtf! i wanted to end the all chinese conv by saying im a student and she can pick a conversation based on that.. So she was talking, and i'm '是'-ing all the way. When the qn abt my age came, i replied the same(nt listening). And i think she thought it was '十'. Then she 'errr errr' and just put down the phone. Lol.

And after that call, the delivery man called. Made a big HOO HAA over delivering the thing. The thing is, i told them to come after 6.30pm coz i wld be in sch any time earlier, and they agreed. And then i received a call at like 5 15 saying their at my house. Thank god my sis is there, or else i will make them wait for me.

Haiz FASC(Fundamentals for Aeronautical Science) is an extremely dry subject which involves dreading calculations. Its really very frustrating. Eg. The leaf falls down to the ground. Windspeed is 20mph, leaf area is 30mm^2. Measure at which angle with respect to the three and how far away will it land from the three. One simple leaf wan to drop to the ground, an event which happens almost every second, have to trouble me by using vestors, 3x3 matrix etc etc. Damn jialat. And worse thing, theres a freaking lecture at 7.30am tmr. And i cant pon cause then i wldnt know where the leaf will drop to..with respect to the tree.

YES!!!muahaha! I no longer have a pathetic choice of CCAs. MUAHAHA!

Yesterday i was abit sad...cause i thought only TPCHOIR wanted me, and i desperately didnt want to join that. But now, all changed.. cause i just received a call, saying im got in to Archery. Which basically means that i do not have to join TPCHOIR. Atfirst, i thought i wldnt get in. Cause, my trial shots were arnd the 2nd circle from the innermost. The person next to me had his first shot right smack in the middle.. Furthermore, i was like the first to ask to go home. Heres the scenario: After i shot finish my 6 shots, my attendee said 'Your Ryan right? Okay, you can leave now.' I took a look around and saw many people still shooting...meaning im more or less the first to go home. Looks like i was once again too paranoid for my own good, and thought too much. Maybe i had quality exhuming out of me during my 6 shots..thats why they didnt bother to waste their time or mine to stay longer, cause im bound to get in...hmmm! Of cause, i will feel bad rejecting TPChoir.

Anyway, saw something disturbing. I saw a cat couple making out underneath my neighbour's staircase. They stopped when i walked past. For some reason, i stopped also..thinking wat they were doing. When i realised, i just walked away, ITS BAD TO INTRUDE IN THEIR PRIVATE MOMENTS..

Okay long post ahead.

So on fri, slept at like 5 and woke at abt 8. Fast forward to work. Reached there at abt 5 45, checked the Duty list and i saw 'Pantry- Ryan'. I was kind of shocked. My first time doing pantry. On the day i was barely awake. To sum it all up, it was not boring. When Uncle Richard knew it was my first day, he promised to bombard me. I didnt know if it was intentional or what, but i soon found myself with 10+ reciepts, and no cups. And each receipt was like 6 cups of ice water or smtg. I tink almost every table had 2 orders of ice waters for everyone. I was so pathetic that Allan, Winston, Gua Huat and almost everyone had to help me. Lol. My hand often just moved freely on its own while washing, that i splashed water at everyone at the pantry area. Its not the gayish use-fingers-to-splash kind which sanjay always does.. Its the kind where ppl will get drenched kind. Im sure everyone present felt as if it was raining indoors. At the end of the night shift, the whole place looked like it was flooded.

Saturday early morning i had archery trials then followed by floorball trials. The floorball captain told us:' Okay, lets head to the track for light warm-ups!' So we went there, and then he said :'Okay, go run 2.4 NOW!' Once, again i was shocked. I havent been running for about a year now(with the exception at work). Somehow, i managed to do it.. Then we played games. The end result was a very tired Ryan, deprived of slp from 2 days ago. When i went to work, i was again pathetic as a runner. I forgot the first plate of food i wiped. Kay, then my eyes played tricks on my the whole while. I say 2 as 3, 5 as 6, 5 as 3, 4 as 9, 1 as 7..etc etc. And for the first time since being a runner, i poured soup over my hand instead of the bowl. In the end, Randy replaced me with Wantay as runner. Haiz.

Muahaha..can say my plan was a success...cant say its a SMASHING success(coz stupid adeline is just so simple minded to not be angry), but the look on her face when she opened the door was well, worth all the trouble i had to go through all this while..just to plan her birthday party.
