So its been so long since the first rehearsal. Cant really remember when it was but the producer had certainly made a lasting impression. I cld still remember on the first rehearsal Jeremiah said, " I dun care how many rehearsal we are going to have, cause the school paid me alot of money."
So its been like so long. The practices were crappish most of the time. sang the same few songs repeatly. In a way, its lucky i skipped practices now and then, if not, i wld have hated choir long time ago. Singing the same song over and over again can be sooo boring and irritating. Sometimes i just end up mouthing the words and humming the tune subconsciously. All the comments ended up was, " Beautiful sound but ugly faces. You need to smile alot more." Hmm maybe its our fault but not entirely. First of all, the first song " On Rising Wind " is an extreme easy song. In a way, the high voices go considerably high, and the lower voices go considerably low. So its like when we need to sing low, we need a certain mouth shape for the vowels and space in the mouth, In short, a certain mouth shape to sing beautifully and nice. But smiling makes it so difficult cause you tend to raise the cheekbones and uses different muscles and interferes with the mouth shape( it gets harder with low notes and this song requires super loe notes). Secondly, i cant tink of anything funny or silly when im singing for sone reason. In the end, i have to fake my smile. Seriously, my fake smile is so fake, its not a smile, it looks like some sort of facial cramp thingy. And i get the uncomfortable feeling of faking smiles. Smiles ought to be genuine and true to your heart. Third, smiling non-stop while trying to attain the mouth shape and hitting the notes and singing in tune in a blended voice, not trying to stand out too much if not the microphone will pick us out is hard. Its like controlling volume, speed, musicality, and the uncomfortable feeling is soo tiring. I'll get facial cramps soon...
So today we had a full dress rehearsal. Brought my blazer and new costumes, kinda eager of wearing it yet kind of hesitant ppl will laugh. Had way early dinner at 5. And changed into the new costumes. Gosh, i look soo smart. Looks top class business man rather than high-class waiters( last costume). Started singing on stage, but cause its so hot, they asked us to take our blazers out. Frankly speaking, out shirt is very gay. Purple is a considerably gay colour and a shirt made of purple silk is way too gay. So we were momentarily relieved when we took our blazers out( v hot). But when we were told we were gonna wear like dat on the day of the concert, we objected strongly. But things cant go our way and we gonna look from high-class businessman to almost gay business man, alot worse than high class waiter cause atleast we were high class. Haiz at arnd 10+, i was v hungry didnt sing well jus mnimal movements. And thats for today. Tml will b the same and sat will be the most terrible.
Already we have ideas to sabotage. Pour water on equipments, Weakening the main support beam so that when they turn on the fans, the shaking will cause the whole tent to fall and we will see what they could do in less than 5 hrs .

Yesterday had choir practice, then it was okay okay. It was a rehearsal cum choir practice kinda thingy. Then after choir waited for a stupid bus for 45 min cause the 33 bus just drove by us. In the end no time to eat lunch then went out ready.
Met Kenson at Eunos MRT and waited for his friends. After that about 6 of us went to the street soccer court, first time this kind of outing. So was kinda frightened at how much the goalpost was much wider than our school. While waiting for another 2, 10 malays came. They wanted to play, but we came first so we shared the court. 5 per team, rotational, 2 goals. The six of us rotated per game so not to get tired while they had 2 teams. So we won 5-1 with either teams. The lost was because i was kinda frightened by their shots and cldnt cover enuf goal post, but did well second game later on. haha we tot we gonna lose like hell coz their skillz super talented. After that, we stayed behind and carried on playing soccer.
Then rain came and we hid below the void deck to wait for it to pass, went to LAN after that. Truthfully speaking, its must first time playing LAN. The shop was kinda cheapskate but coz my friend knows the uncle, we got a cheap rate of $1.5 /hr. The uncle was super lame, he speaks likes a 5 yr old kid, with all the funny noises he make when someone dies and all the funny slang and his son is like 9 yrs old but much more non-childish. Really makes a bad first impression. Hmm, friend taught me how to play and won the first game, kinda like just being the extra but good person, felt kinda stupid though. Kept on dying... haiz
Anyway, 50th anniversary coming up which means daily practices for so long, i hate it coz my conductor might pop the audition anytime soon. Haiz gonna be sooo pack. Choir rox! we gonna sing two songs, On Rising Wind as opening item, and Celebrate The Excellence aka COE as theme song. Then must sing school song, haiz we go home last bcoz we end the last item, further more, we come extra early bcoz opening item. haiz. who ever said choir slacked?

Today had choral workshop, woke up at like 6 30 then went to school to take appeal form before heading to SSCC for the workshop was tghere aboutan hour early, super bored. Slowly ppl from Catholic High, Anglican High. Victoria Sec, Chung Cheng, Commonwealth choir came in, we had a mass warm up and diff sections headed off to other places for mass sectionals on our SYF setpiece. The SLs all so shy to go and conduct then wasted so much time. Basically, basses part was relatively easy as 70% of our song was the same note. Diffcult part was keeping in tune, cause one get bored of singing the same note and will mix up the rythm. Never knew it could be so hard being monotonous. So we had lunch in KSC, ordered my usual and headed back. Had a mini competition between the choirs to see who prepared the most within the session. TK performed with the best technique of learning, while Cat High performed with the best sound and rythm thingy. So headed back and i took a diff route home to walk with my friends. I got lost while walking home and got laughed at by my juniors, haiz, so blur. Never knew so many people lived so near my house.

hmmm had a concert on tues...its sort of a platform to showcase our current quality and to learn from other school. So it means that there were many schools choir there singing three songs and we were suppose to learn from them...some were good, some were bad. Our choir was like bad caused we rushed so much, that we practically doubled the speed!!!Sheesh tml go back choir will get brutally murdered by Mr Kwei lah...dunno how lor. Its a first for practically half the choir and whole of alto lah.
Then yesterday went Wynne's house arnd 10 went to PP then shop at only ONE shop for abt 1+ hr? Then went to wynne hse ...played soccer...blah blah watch this stupid show which is kind of disgusting then had bbq...fire had prob...then took like 1.5 hr? then play dunno wat then when home.
very bored and restless...

Hmm chalet was really fun, spent alot of quality best time. was supposed to be the last grp meeting but now they all arranging other meetings, i guess the last will never come..which is a good thing.
First day,
Arrived there late, went straight to chalet, met the girls, kicked the soccer ball arnd, identified the small little midgets there wrongly. Then went to bowling centre, walk there very quiet and nice. Saw the others bowl, then went back to chalet do smtg which i forgot. then dunno hu went out to buy dinner. Then after that we had a very good time with the cockroaches.haha i like the cockroaches then, they keep scaring the girls. very funny to see their reactions. then edmund was a hero catching cockroaches. He could made a fortune catching them, but too bet the girls never pay him. But i still dun understand y adeline scared of lizards. then we stayed up late at night playing cards. Kept suggesting to go out. When they finally went out, we had a nice slow walk down the beach to macs. very soothing and relaxing. Then at macs we drank some drinks and hang out at the play ground. Basically, i was playing hide and seek with cheryl/tiffany coz they want to take my photo which i hated. then tok tok tok until dunno what time. Went back then play cards again play until 6+? i went out to the beach to relax and take some air. Somehow fell asleep listening to the waves. Then heard Russells luagh and woke me up. Then they came along, watch the non-existing sunrise. Went up a pile of unwanted stones took some photos.
2nd day,
Rachel came, ate breakfast. Cheryl smtg wrong due to my cuase. Very sorry. Then played soccer with Wynne and Rachel lost about 5-6 goals? Very hard to beat. All dead tired and Adeline sitting down there like a laughing buddha like that. nvm shant elaborate. bRings back font memories. Then played bowling. Lost like hell but still very fun. Dunno why. But i learned something. 7 pound ball very fun. Nvm shant elaborate too. Then had bbq, the food chao da like hell, got one chicken wing looks like charcoal. nvm, so had a bad dinner, is girls prepare. nt my fault...cant tink how next time they going to be housewives. Then cycle cyclecame back had celebration. A failed attempt to bash the bdae boys but nvm, made yc bled nvm. Then we ate cake celebrated sparklers, poppers, bombs, dunno what happen to the balloons. then i always had the extra ( remaining) poppers or bomb then scare everyone. haha. Everyone slept like pig that nite...bad thing i didnt have a bed to sleep on.
3rd day,
Err, went back home. had small breakfast at macs. then everyone slept like pig too. then take photo. then ys mother sent me back.
Someone help me remember Wan Yin owe me one punishment cause she lie to me. Thank You. Or if u want wan yin to do something but cant get her too, find me:)

Today, had choir. Then this sec 1 junior called Eugene came to base. He's the first sec 1 of this years batch to enter base. For 11 months, bases sailed smoothly through the year without any problems other than me. Then now a sec 1 comes in, our " near invincible" title will be gone. It was bestowned upon us earlier this year by Mr Kwei. Now it will be gone. Argh! he broke our record. we were trying for a whole year without sec ones and he broke it.Then we gave a welcome bash. I and sean whacked, patted, hugged, slammed him alot until he coughed like 15 times continously and face red. ARGH!
